Well, let's see: I've got a wedding gig tomorrow evening, a rehearsal for it tonight, a poetry jam Sunday evening, and rehearsals Monday morning and evening--maybe I can squeeze a brief freehike in there somewhere, but we'll have to see. (That's the trouble with being a performing musician: I'm working when everyone else is playing.)

Do you really consider something you love doing to be work?

Considering I'm trying to make a living at it, yes. But it's very FUN work!

I figured that. However, as a musician you're also playing when you're working.

:hammock: Well we are officially opening our pool for the summer

:tanning: Having a barbecue, and drinking fizzy beverages :burp:

We even met one of our neighbors, who live a bow shot down the road from us, for the first time yesterday, and again today--they borrowed some sugar, and butter :) They just showed up at our fence, unannounced--and saw us as we really are. They must have had a bit of foreknowledge, as they did not bat an eye at my appearing naked to greet them. Today they returned with some milk, and asked to borrow some lighter fluid. :? I invited them in and introduced them to everyone, and invited them over tomorrow--so we will see how it goes. 8)

Well--our new friends did join us for Memorial day festivities. There was the young couple, and the 15 year old daughter of their land lady. We all had a great time eating BBQ, and swimming, and visiting. They did not get nude, but have never shown any concern about our freedoms, and I feel they may join in some day, as they get more at ease around us, and get over their initial body shyness.

Great weekend over all.
