Who We Are - Where We Live in the world

Postby natman » Thu Nov 10, 2011 12:22 pm

I thought it would be interesting for us to see where and how Christian Naturists live by introducing a series of polls.

I have set the polls up so that you can change your answer as conditions change.

They are also confidential so that no one knows how you specifically answered, but please be honest.
SON-cerely,
Nathan Powers

I wish there was more out there for the British Christian naturist to be honest.

Makes me feel a little isolated...

John, there's actually a lot available for British Christians who are naturist.
I wish their activities were better publicized.

Soon, you will find yourself with lots of new friends in your area.
Your problem might then become finding time for it all.

Since 2009 on NC and a while here on CNV - Still waiting and waiting and waiting for responses to my forum postings for local Christian nudists!!?? Those committed to the wonderful nude lifestyle seem to prefer being "passing shadows in the light" rather than really being friends to anyone!!??

From your quote, you seem to be an amazing exception compared to the rest of us.

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly... Proverbs 18:24

What are you doing to meet friends where you live?
Miami has Haulover Beach and thousands of potential friends.

Fig Leaf Forum prayer and fellowship groups have brought many together on a local level.
CNC (Christian Nudist Convocation) has as well.

I have met Christians simply by visiting naturist camp.
People don't often read 3-year-old posts on this or any forum.
So it good to refresh an old post, (as you have just done!)

I have not had problems with friendships with non-nudist friends and neighbors. If you visit Haulover Beach, with is lovely and well maintained, you will note a large portion of the folks from all over the world. This is great, if you are not looking for locals who are of the wonderful nudist lifestyle mindset. Further, you will note that most keep to themselves except for the games, and maybe special doings.

I have several nudist folks that I communicate with quite regularly, and really thank the Lord for their acquaintance. Local, they are not. With Skype and webcam, we have the next best type of fellowship while wearing our birthday suits!!

Thanks, will check the CNC,

I checked CNC which does not appear to be for meeting people in our local area. We have no naturist camps in or near Miami anymore, that I know of - especially for Christians. Lifestyle exposure and associated reputation stigmas attached by most Church family groups to this lifestyle, admittedly keeps most of us in what I call "the nudist lifestyle CIA underground" mode of living. I'm not really complaining about it, but just expressing the possible frustrations nude leaning newbies see when trying to develop nudist friendships versus all others.

epionly,

CNC was created for regional gatherings and (sometimes) local gatherings can develop from it.
That was the intention of the team that founded it (of which I am one).

As for naturist/nudist camps or resorts, you may have to widen your circle beyond the immediate Miami area.

There is the BEACHES Foundation and they provide much of the sense of community at Haulover.
I suggest getting in touch with them.

Do you subscribe to the Figleafforum ?
I suggest that you do and take advantage of their opportunity to join existing fellowship meetings or create your own in your area.
