I would have felt bad if the entire strip (threads are for textiles! ) were removed; there's some good discussion and information here. (I'm prejudiced, of course, since some of the posts are mine. ) But I'm glad the original link was removed, since the site is obviously no longer what it was. Apparently not much is "safe" these days.

I have seen several similar sites on Tumbler suddenly taken over by porn vendors. This is very sad. I do not know if they were hijacked or if that was the plan of the original site creator all along.

Yesterday I went through the whole lot of photos on naturizam.tumblr.com and found that they were generally naturist oriented. Some could have been classified as crotch shots, but for the most part they were genuine naturist activities, I think.

Many resorts forbid any photography except by previously authorized individuals (usually long time members or key staff). At beaches it can be frowned upon although may not be totally restricted. In general regardless of the venue it is best to ensure you have the permission of all who might appear in the picture prior to taking it or just ensuring that you only get what and who is ok with it. Many folks are very nervous about their pictures being seen anywhere, especially online.

However at some "public" beaches there may be lurkers or others who are there to take pictures or illicit purposes. I have seen many purported "naturist" sites that have pictures that appear to be taken by someone with ulterior motives and frankly they disgust me.

As of October 28, 2012 the main page at http://naturizam.tumblr.com/
is not porn but several of the sub pages definitely are.
