Is there a new look at this website?

Is it my imagination, or my laptop's imagination, but do we have a different look here at CNV? :?:

I have not noticed it, though I access on 3 machines regularly and there are slight variations one to tother depending on settings.

Yes. I finally figured out how to get rid of the sidebar on the left. It duplicated functions already on the screen and took up space. I hope to make more changes soon.

It looks like the one on N-C. I like the new look.

I like the change, I found the sidebar distracting as well. Though now i have to pay much closer attention to make sure i know which of the two sites I am actually on if I have both open.

Nathan, I'll go the opposite of the above comments to say that I preferred the sidebar on the left. It was easier to choose the 'New Posts', 'My Posts', etc. :butbut:

Warren

Warren,

I set the "View Unread Posts" as my default link...
search.php?search_id=unreadposts

Also, you can view your own posts just as easily by clicking on the "View your posts" link just to the right of the "User Control Panel" link in the upper left of the screen.

The reason why I wanted to get rid of the sidebar is that I plan to add a more interactive and graphic header and several HTML supporting pages, as well as a links sidebar on the left.

Are you planning a homepage? If so, will you be using a pic? And if so, will it be rather "neutral" so as not to alarm a non-naturist?

I like that idea. I think it would be neat to emulate (not copy) Naturist-Christians' style of home page with maybe a photo and some pages discussing Christianity and naturism, so one could read through that before coming into the forum.

Yes, there will be a home page with photos of naturists (most from the back side). I am also hoping to create a collage of photos of some of our ACTUAL members from photos submitted by them for that purpose.

Here's an example of a collage I made a few years ago...

(Picture yourself as one of the people in that collage.)

I am hoping to have "About", "Links", "Resources", and "Donate" links and pages, as well as the forums.

Nathan, I like all your ideas. By the way, in that group pic, I'm the one without the tan lines. 8)

Maverick... what can I say. You beat us all to it! Really though, just think - one day we'll all be clothed in only the righteousness of God. Wait a minute... We already are if we know His Son!!!!!!!

Yes. I just couldn't find an image of Him that worked well. He would also be appproximately the same height and build as the rest of His people.
